Good Grief. We’ll see tomorrow….

Per Genesis-The Movement:

12th Mar 2006 – A recent press release suggests that yesterday’s reunion rumours can be attributed to a reunion of ‘The Cars’ to be announced at the House Of Blues on Tuesday.

So basically I learn not to trust contactmusic.com as a source. That’s the problem with trying to post news in a timely manner. Sometimes, the overeager overwhelms the overcautious.

But again, we will see tomorrow if the announcement in LA is about The Cars or Genesis. Proof is in the pudding I guess. And I guess that I guess too much!

Music Mart Article on Peter

Although the interview was done back when the FIFA gig was still on, the article is a good conversation between Peter and a somewhat bemused interviewer.

GENESIS TO REFORM?

Legendary rockers GENESIS are reforming to record a new album and tour, it will be announced next week (begs13MAR06). PHIL COLLINS and PETER GABRIEL will reportedly reveal their plans to regroup the LAND OF CONFUSION band’s classic line-up at a press conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday (14MAR06). Genesis last released a studio album in 1997. Gabriel left the band in 1976 to pursue a fruitful solo career, while Collins’ own phenomenally successful solo career ran parallel to his time in Genesis.

petergabriel.com – new look, and beta REMIX site!

Check out petergabriel.com for news about the redesign of Peter’s web site, and also a feature about RealWorldRemixed – a beta project where you can download songs, remix them, and upload your remixes!

Which may explain why Noodle is now free, and so are the tracks – they switched focus. At least they didn’t get rid of it, and now there’s more cool stuff to play with!!
